Terms & Conditions for use

 Our website:

1.        Your use of this website and any service contained within constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions

3..       We make every effort to ensure that the pricing displayed on our website is correct. However if an error in the pricing of a product is found we reserve the right to either cancel your order or contact you to arrange payment of any extra sum due or refund any over payment made by you (as applicable). The processing of an order can be cancelled or corrected by us at any time up to the shipment of that order and related items.

4.        We reserve the right to alter all product pricing without notice

Making a purchase.

AMEX Not accepted via telephone. “We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties”. PayPal payments WE ONLY SHIP TO REGISTERED PAYPAL ADDRESS this is for your protection and as per PayPal`s terms and conditions.

4.        Products ordered from us does not pass to you, until we have received and processed a valid payment that has been made into our own bank account

 5.        The prices on our website are in British pound GBP and include VAT at current rate

Your order

1.        When an order is placed you will automatically receive confirmation email from us to confirm your order. Your order constitutes an offer made to us to purchase the goods specified in the order

2.        Product items not dispatched are not included in the order and contract between you and us

3.        We reserve the right to delay or refuse orders in which a transaction contains incomplete details or details that cannot be verified or if fraud is suspected

4.        if we are unable to ascertain these details or resolve these issues a full refund will be offered nor will a refund be made to any account or third party

Shipping and handling

1.        All orders received by us are subject to availability

2.        FREE SHIPPING ON ALL ORDERS UK MAINLAND ONLY
Please provide a contact number for our nominated courier company.

3.        All parcels must be signed for on receipt. It can take 2-3 working days to deliver to some postcodes, including Scottish Highlands and outlying parts of the UK mainland. Some Large Lengths and items cannot be shipped outside Mainland UK.  Delivery to Northern Scotland, Isles, R.O.I and N. Ireland can take 2-3 days and will be charged at a higher rate, this will be advised before checkout. Apologies for this but couriers set these rates.

4.        *Delivery applies to orders for stock items where the payment has cleared by 12 Midday GMT. After 12 Midday we cannot guarantee dispatch of your parcel in time for delivery. Orders for out of stock items will be dispatched immediately as soon as the product arrives from our supplier and you will be notified by email. We will not be held responsible for delayed deliveries due to problems in processing your payments or delays experienced by our courier.

5.        We will not be held responsible for delayed deliveries due to problems in processing your payments or delays experienced by our courier nor by disruption to shipping caused by industrial action or disputes outside our direct control. If such actions occur you will be offered delivery by an alternative method or company or a full refund.

6.        If you are ordering a product from outside the UK the recipient of the item or products is responsible for all customs duties and tariffs incurred by that country to which the item or products are shipped. Furthermore your order may be delayed or be opened and searched by customs authorities. Please note we cannot quote or provide advice or prices on customs duties or tariffs.

Refunds, returns and cancellation rights

1.        Under the distance selling regulations 2000 you have a right to cancel your purchase. However, to exercise this right you must notify us in writing or email within 7 (seven) working days from the day after you receive your goods. A telephone call is not a valid cancellation

2.        No right of cancellation, refund or return exists under Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulations 2000 once you have used your product, unless the product is defective and you are returning the product or item for this reason.

3.        No right of cancellation exists for download or “soft copy” goods to which you have access or use of.

4.        Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance and Selling Directive and Distance Selling Regulations 2000 which can be found here. http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm

5.        For returning goods to us, please follow these procedures

7.        If you are returning the item or products because it is defective, please state its defect or defects.

8.        Repackage the item or products in its original packaging, including any attachments or accessories, brochures, user manuals, guarantees, warranties. We are unable to issue a refund where the product is returned in an incomplete state.

9.        If the original packaging surrounding the item or products has been, destroyed or damaged we will only issue a refund if the item or products is being returned due to a defect. If the original packaging of a defective item or products has been destroyed or damaged you have a duty to ensure that the returned item or products is adequately packed for shipment back to us

10.     You are responsible for paying postage, shipping or courier costs incurred when returning the item or products.

11.     We always recommend that all returns be sent by registered postage or courier, so that a record of the return is available for you.

12.     We will not refund for any items lost or stolen in transit to us

13.     Where a return is stolen, lost or mislaid in transit to us, you should claim compensation from the postage or courier company that you have used for the shipping to us.

14.     With subject to the above, we will refund the purchase price of a returned item or products within thirty days of receiving written notification of your intention to return the item or products to us.

15.     If an item or products are being returned to us for defect or incorrectly sent by us, we will refund the cost of standard or recorded postage incurred. N.B we will not refund for any courier, overnight, Royal Mail Special Delivery postage charges

Complaints

1.        If you have a complaint or query, please email us at sales@handtoolsxpress.co.uk with as much detail and images if possible in order for us to resolve the issue or query within a reasonable time frame. You will be kept informed of the status of the query or complaint at all times.

2.        We will respond to all customer complaints or queries within three working days.

Faulty goods

1.        If your item or products develop a fault it can be returned to Handtools Xpress Ltd (Returns address on application) subject to the above returns policy.

2.        No returns will be accepted without the above policy terms complied.

3.        On receipt of the item or products we will advise on the appropriate course of action. e.g. refund, replace or repair

Goods Damaged in transit

1.        If your goods are damaged in transit please contact customer services 01922 745095 or email us within 24 hours of receipt for advice on appropriate course of action.

    
Warranties

1.        All items and products on our website carry a full manufacturer’s warranty.

2.        Any item or product which are subject to a warranty claim should be returned to Handtools Xpress Ltd (warranty returns address on application) for inspection.

3.        On receipt of any item or products returned under warranty claims, Handtools Xpress Ltd or our manufacturers or suppliers will repair or replace the defective item or products.

4.        Warranties do not cover deliberate or accidental damage, acts of God, misuse damage or not following instructions supplied with the item or products. Item or products must not be modified in any shape or form, nor repaired by a third party without our prior approval

5.        Item or products that have not failed due to manufacturing defects will be repaired at the cost of the customer. Our decision on this final.

6.        Warranties for power tools and especially Refina Mega Mixers, cables, plugs, carbon brushes, and outer casings are not covered under warranty. Warranty does not cover incorrect purchase of item or products

7.        The warranty will become null and void if the item or products have not been used in accordance with the manufacturers or purpose they were designed for.

Conditions

1.        The Seller Handtools Xpress Ltd will accept no liability for any loss, damage, delay or failure however caused, resulting from the use of the products, whether for injury, profit or data loss.

2.        The seller Handtools Xpress Ltd shall not be liable under these Terms & Conditions if any delay, failure is caused by any circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to, war, civil disorders, industrial disputes and acts of God
